Rex HosfordDenison - Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Johnson-Moore Funeral for Rex Scoggin Hosford, 85-year-old retired Denison bookkeeper. She died Saturday at Care Inn of Denison.
Everett Hodges of Central Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Hosford was born in Alba, the daughter of Hicks and Julia Smith Scoggin. On June 1, 1925, she married Guy L. Hosford in Dallas.
She had been employed by the Denison Cotton Mill. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ, 21 Club, Denison Garden Club, Royal Neighbors, Denison Art Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Texoma Squares and Senior Nutrition Program.
Surviving are her son, Jerry Hosford of Denison; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Austin Colleges. Mrs. Hosford married Guy L. Hosford, June 1, 1925, in Dallas, he died April 12, 1980. A bookkeeper for the Denison Cotton
Mill she was a member of the Central Church of Christ, the XXI Club, Denison Garden Club, Royal Neighbors, Denison Art Club, VFW
Auxiliary, Denison Genealogy Society, Texoma Squares, SNAP.Surviving are a son, Jerry Hosford of Denison; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 tonight.
