W.T. JUDKINS DIES IN PAMPA
Word has been received here of the death of W.T. Judkins, 76, of Pampa, a
retired mechanic at Sherrard Motors in Denison and Young Motor Company in
Sherman. Mr. Judkins died last Thursday at a Pampa hospital.
Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery in Pampa.
A Tennessee native, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Judkins
and married Jewell Keller in 1921 at Van Alstyne.
Survivors are his wife, daughters, Mrs. Lewis Epps and Mrs. James Baird,
both of Pampa, and Mrs. John Smith of Levelland; brother Ernest Judkins of
Dallas; sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Sarraf of Sherman, Mrs. Ann Armstrong of El
Paso and Mrs. Mattie Bell Yother of Dallas; and several grandchildren and
great grandchildren. (Researcher's note: Jewell Keller was daughter of

Evelyn Marie Judkins, Mrs. John Smith was Doris Christine Judkins and Mrs.

WILLIAM TIMOTHY JUDKINS
Funeral services for William Timothy Judkins, 76, of 415 Rider, will be
10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with the rev.
Ted Savage, pastor of the Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will
be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Judkins died Thursday at Highland General Hospital.
He was born in 1900 in Silver point, Tenn, and he married Jewell Inez
Keller in 1921 in Sister Grove, Tex. He moved to Pampa in 1959 and was a
former longtime resident of Denison. He served in the U.S. Navy during
World war II and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Survivors are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Epps, and Mrs.
Elveda Baird, both of Pampa and Mrs. Doris Smith of Levelland; four sisters,
Mrs. Ann Armstrong of El Paso, Mrs. Myrtle Sarraf of Sherman, Mrs. Mattie
Yother of Dallas and Mrs. Dorothy Malone of Buffalo Valley, Tenn; one
brother, Ernest of Dallas, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
