 Mrs. George C. Hall 

Pilot Point- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Beck Chapel for Mrs. George C. Hall, 58, who died Monday, January 5, 1970 at a Dallas hospital following an eight week illness. Dr. Vernon Davis of Denton will officiate and burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Hall, Eunice, was born June 17, 1911, in the Farmington Community near Howe, the daughter of Samuel and Nora Gurley. She married George C. Hall on 28 July 1928 in Denison. The family moved from McKinney to Pilot Point in 1937. The family moved to Cooper, TX in 1957 and returned to Pilot Point in 1964. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include her husband of Pilot Point; one son, Donald E. Hall of Denton; one daughter Mrs. William Lee Abbe of Denton; and five grandchildren.

The family will be at the chapel Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.


George C. Hall 

Pilot Point- Services for George C. Hall of Denton, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Beck Funeral Chapel. He died Thursday, August 17, 1972 in a Denton Hospital at the age of 63.

Mr.Hall a retired employee of Lone Star Gas Company after 35 years of service, was born December , 1908 in Grayson County near Pottsboro. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Henry Hall. He married Eunice Gurley in Denison on July 28, 1928. She preceded him in death. He married Helen Norris in Denton in 1971. He was a member of the Grace Temple Baptist Church in Denton. He was a former member of the Lions Club, member of the board of the American Association of Retired Persons.

He was a Mason, served on the Pilot Point City Council for four years. He was a member of the Pilot Point Auxilliary Fire Department for 25 years.

Rev. Robert Richardson will officiate with burial in the Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife of Denton; one son, Don Hall of Denton; one daughter, Margie Abbe of Denton; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Alton Davis of Irving; five brothers, Ray, Carl and Burl all of Fort Worth, and Bill and Shelley Hall of Denison; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

The family will be at the Funeral Home Friday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.


Donald E. Hall 

Funeral services for Donald Everett Hall, 46, of 2317 Yorkshire, were to be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Schmitz-Floyd-Hamlett Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Robert Richardson was to officiate with burial at the Masonic Cemetery in Pilot Point.

Mr. Hall passed away on March 13, 1976 in a local hospital after a six month battle with cancer.

Mr. Hall was born July 2, 1929 in Sherman, Grayson, Texas. He was married to Peggy Moore, October 24, 1953 in Pilot Point, Texas. He was a veteran of W.W.II and graduated from North Texas State University, he attended Texas Tech University and Baylor University. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Shriners. He was a member of the Board of directors of the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association.

Survivors include his wife; his stepmother Helen Hall; two sons, Hal Hall and Denis Hall; one daughter, Diane Hall; and one sister Margie Abbe of Denton.
