Services were held Sept. 28, 1992 in Earnheart Funeral Home Chapel for Mr.
Sam Taylor, 72-year-old retired Whitewright mechanic, who died Saturday at a
Whitewright nursing home.
The Rev. Houston Garner officiated with burial in Whitewright City Cemetery.
Born in Grayson County, the son of Elzie and Gussie Means Taylor, he married
Fay Holt Sept 16, 1939, in Whitewright.
Serving as pallbearers were Ricky Dee Robbins, Rickey Hall, Steve Taylor,
Jerry Gay, Al Smith, Bobby Tadlock and J.C. McRae.
Survivors are his wife of Whitewright; brother, Floyd Taylor of Ector; and
sisters, Paulene Haden and Margie Baker, both of Ector.
