WILLIE SIMMONS - Funeral for Ms. Willie Simmons, 79, of 102 West Texas, who
died yesterday in a local hospital, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Bratcher
Chapel. Rev. Sam Allen Baugh will conduct the service. Burial will be in
Mrs. Simmons was born at Trenton, April 12, 1906, the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. William C. Cobble. She married L.L. Simmons and was a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons, Johnnie Blanton of Frietsch, Allen Blanton
in Denison and John E. Brown of Pottsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Gryder
of San Antonio; two brothers, Alvin Cobble of Denison and Roy Cobble of
Arkansas; one sister, Mrs. Dollie Thomasson, Symsonia, Ky; 12 grandchildren
and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.
(Willie A'della Coble married William Franklin Blanton, son of John E.A.
Blanton and Margaret Elizabeth Keller, on January 31, 1920. In 1930 Willie
and Bill were divorced. She married John F. Brown in the 1930's. They were
divorced. She married Alvin J. Bruhin (aka A.J. Bruhn), who died in 1963.
Willie A'della married Lonnie L. Simmons, who died in 1976.

CARL HOGG - WHITEWRIGHT - Services for Carl D. Hogg, 91, former Denison school custodian who died Saturday at his home in Dallas, will
be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Earnheart Funeral Chapel in Whitewright. The Rev. James Walker of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. // Burial will be at Randolph Cemetery. // Mr. Hogg was born in Randolph, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hogg, and married Jennie Tingle on Sept. 22, 1934 in Durant. He was a member of the Randolph Methodist Church and worked for the Denison schools for 19 years before his retirement. // Surviving are his sons, Marvin Hogg of Dallas and Vernon Hogg of Milpitas, Calif.; stepson Leroy Tingle of Denison; stepdaughter, Mrs. Harvey Roberts of Sherman; sisters, Mrs. Pearl Dubins of San Bernardino, Calif. and Mrs. Ova Gray of Bonham; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. // Pallbearers are Roscoe Blanton, Paul Berriers, Michael Tingle, Gene Tingle, Leroy Tingle and Harvey Roberts. (researcher's note: Mrs. Carl Hogg was the former Jennie Donie Blanton,daughter of Marion Thomas Blanton and Josephine Argenia Matthews and the granddaughter of Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone.
Jennie was predeceased by a stillborn daughter, Donie Lee Tingle and by her first husband Joe L. Tingle. Marvin T. Hogg and Vernon D. Hogg were stepsons of Jennie Donie Blanton Tingle Hogg.)
