OLLIE LAYMAN

   Bells - Services for Ollie (nee Ollie Hargett) Layman, 83, of Bells who died March 6, 1997, at her residence were held at 2 p.m. March 8, 1997, in the First Baptist Church of Bells.
   The Rev Thomas Beall and the Rev Robert Baldridge officiated.  Burial was
in Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright.
   Arrangement were under the direction of Mullican-Little Funeral Home. 
   Mrs. Layman was born Jan. 28 /, 1914, in Achille, Okla., the daughter of William and Lucy Phares Hargett.  She married J.B. Layman on Nov. 5, 1933, in Savoy, Texas.  She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School class.   She also served as a member of the choir, Missionary Society and taught the Primary Sunday School Class for many years.  She was also a member of the Bells 42 Club.  Ms. Layman had retired from the cafeteria at Bells Schools.
   Surviving are her sons, David Layman of Savoy, Roddy J. Layman of Aubrey and Monte C. Layman of Baytown; brother, Gaines Lee Hargett of McKinney and 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
