Ileen Braden Treese, 90, of Sherman, Texas was called home to the Lord,
Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center after a
severe heart attack.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:00AM
at West Hill Cemetery. Reverend Larry Blain of Southmayd Baptist Church
will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
She was born on June 23, 1917 near Tupelo, Mississippi, daughter of
Charlie W. and Roxie A. (Tucker) Braden.
She was raised in Texas and graduated from Dorchester High School in
1935.
On December 31, 1939 she married Robert C. Treese of Sherman. They were
married for 67 years.
She worked many years with her husband farming then later worked for
Whopper Stopper Lure Co. in Sherman for 23 years. She retired in 1978.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Treese on May 5,
2006, her brother, Glynn Braden, three sisters Inez Qualls, Exie Nichols
and Ann Wilson.
Survived by her daughter Theresa Jane Sewell of Ravenna; one
granddaughter Gina Cantrell and husband Cody of Lamasco; one grandson
Scott Sewell and wife Sandra of Ravenna; three great-grandson Spec. Kyle
Caplinger ( currently stationed in Irag), Kole Caplinger and Kaleb
Sewell; one great-granddaughter Brandi Nikkole Cantrell (Nikki) and one
great-great-granddaughter Jaci Rae Caplinger; several nieces and nephews
and a host of many friends.
She was a member of Southmayd Baptist Church.
