MYRTLE WARNE Passed away on Monday evening, July 16,
2007 at the age of 88. Henrietta was born on March 28, 1919 in Denison,
Texas. She lived in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to the San Fernando Valley
when she was 8-years-old. She married Harold Thatcher Kitto and had two
boys, Richard and Larry. Her husband passed away in 1950. She worked for
Convair during WWII and went on to work for Westrex/Todd-AO. She worked
for Ralph's Grocery Company for 25 years before retiring in 1991. Henrietta
was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She loved to travel and led tours around the world for Travelaires and
Collette Tours. Henrietta visited every continent, except Antarctica. She
loved to sew, crochet, knit and do needlep oint and donated her work to
children's hospitals and World Relief. She was also an active member of
The Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and the Women's Republican
Group. Henrietta leaves behind two sons, Richard and Larry; six grandchildren
and twelve great grandchildren. She was loved dearly and will be missed
by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August
11 at 2:00 pm at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in North Hollywood with a reception
immediately follo wing. The Kitto Family would like to extend their thanks
and gratitude to Providence St. Joseph for their care and support of Henrietta.
We would also like to thank Tammi Harris from Roze Room Hospice for her
wonderful support.
