J.R. Andrews has returned from Sherman, where he spent several days at the bedside of his brother, Mark H. Andrews, who died at his home in that city April 2nd.  Deceased is survived by his widow, three sons and two daughters, also by the one brother, Mr. Andrews of this city.  Mr. Andrews came to Grayson county in 1858, and was a citizen of Sherman for over sixty years.  "Uncle Mark", as he was familiarly known to Sherman people, enjoyed a wide acquaintance throughout this county, and was highly esteemed by all.  He was for many years engaged in the dry goods and other mercantile enterprises in Sherman, andwas long prominent in business circles there.  Mr. Andrews was a Confederate veteran and a member of the Mildred Lee Camp of that city.

J.R. Andrews and son, Lucian, and O.T. Lackey attended the funeral of Mark Andrews at Sherman Thursday afternoon of last week.  Mr. Andrews was a brother of J.R. Andrews of this place, and had many friends here who will regret to learn of his death.
