THE NEWS FROM SHERMAN

SUDDEN DEATH
This morning about 6 o'clock Mrs. Henry Sirpless, who resides on North Walnut street, was horrified upon awakening to find her husband lying by her side dead.  The body was still warm, showing that death had just taken place.  Assistance was summoned, but was of no avail; life was extinct and the man dead beyond a doubt.  The deceased was 56 years of age, and an old and respected citizen of this city.  He leaves a wife and two sons, the oldest of whom, Cassius Sirpless, is the junior proprietor of the Sherman Evening Register, the news paper.  He will be buried in the West Side Cemetery tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.
