Janet White
Denison- Graveside funeral services for Janet Odessa White will
be held at 11:00 AM Friday January 28 at West Hill Cemetery. Chaplain Steve
Walker of The Hospice Center will officiate with services under the direction
of Waldo Funeral Home. Mrs. White, 68, passed away Tuesday January 25 at
Denison Manor Nursing Home.
Janet was born on July 14, 1942 in Sherman. She graduated from Panama
City High School and later earned a degree at Texas Women's University,
graduating in 1965. Janet lived most of her life in Ft. Worth where she
worked in the office of admissions at TCU for over 20 years. Health problems
forced her retirement, and she moved to Denison to be near her family.
She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church.
Mrs. White is survived by her father, Charles Osborne of Sherman;
one brother, Chuck Osborne and his wife Linda of Howe; nephew, Ian Osborne
and wife Erica of Sherman; and her aunt, Nell Ruth Viars and her husband
Buddy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Odessa (Lewis) Osborne.
