Sherman- Graveside funeral services for Fannie Edna Henderson will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 5 at West Hill Cemetery. Rev. Clint Sylvester of the Christian Life Church will officiate. Her grandsons, Scotty Henderson, Michael Henderson, Donny Henderson, Billy Joe Henderson, Raymond Youmans, and Aubrey Martin will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Henderson, 93, passed away Thursday, July 1 in Sherman. 

Fannie was born April 25, 1917 in Cleburne, Texas to the late Aubrey and Julia (Carter) May. She graduated from Cleburne schools and married O.M. Henderson on July 20, 1940 in Cleburne. Mrs. Henderson worked with her husband for many years as the owners of Henderson Grocery and Café. She and O.M. were married 37 years when he passed away in 1977. Fannie also worked at S.H. Kress and Co, Wackers, and Winns. Mrs. Henderson was a Pentecostal. 

Fannie was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Henderson is the last of eight children and is survived by one daughter, Opal Youmans and her husband Bud of Wedgefield, SC; one son, Aubrey Henderson and wife Gayla of Sherman; 11 grandchildren, Scotty Henderson, Michael Henderson, Donny Henderson, Carolyn Henderson, Billy Joe Henderson, Raymond Youmans, Aubrey Martin, JoAnn Moffitt, Cecilia Greenwood, Anita Steinley, and Edna Mae Brady; 19 great grandchildren; and 20 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Billy Martin and his wife Sara and Oscar Henderson and wife Anne; and four grandchildren, Bud Youmans Jr, Jackie Youmans, Sheila Lee, and Tommy Henderson.
