Mrs. J. C. HULSEY DEAD
ONE OF PIONEERS OF SHERMAN, PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING
Mrs. J. C_ Hulsey died this morning at 7 o'clock at her home 315
South Montgomery Street after a continued and weaking period of illness
from a complication of troubles. Heart failure was the immediate
cause of her death.
Mrs. Hulsey was 80 years of age and has been a resident of this city
almost continuously for the past 37 years. She was born in Georgia
and there is one surviving sister of the deceased in that state now.
She had been critically ill for the past two weeks.
The funeral will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon
at 3 o'clock by Rev. J. L. Morris, pastor of the Travis Street Methodist
Church and of which church she was a devout member. Interment at
West Hill Cemetery.
