Genevieve "GiGi" Triplett Niendorff, 91, passed away on Sunday, Dec.
13, 2009, at Methodist Richardson Medical Center, Richardson. Arrangements
are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Graveside services will
be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at West Hill Cemetery,
with Pastor Leland Samuelson officiating.
GiGi was born in Sherman on May 3, 1918, to Henry and Blanche Breeding
Sandifer. She attended Sherman public schools and resided in Sherman most
of her life, moving to Richardson only recently. She was an accomplished
artist in pastel and oil painting. She was a wonderful and loving mother
and wife.
GiGi first married Wendell Williams Warren Sr., who was killed in
action during World War II. They had two sons, Bill Warren Jr. and Jimmy
Warren. She later married Reno Triplett and then Frank Niendorff.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands: W.W.
Warren Sr., Reno Triplett, and Frank Niendorff; and her son Jimmy Warren.
She is survived by son, W.W. (Bill) Warren Jr., and wife Freya.
