Graveside services for Jamie Ballou Brooks, homemaker, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at West Hill Cemetery. Rev. Dwane Crane of Bethel Baptist Church in Rockwall will officiate. Jamie passed away Jan. 18, 2010 at Lakepoint Medical Center in Rowlett. Waldo Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jamie was born June 19, 1968 in Ft. Worth. She attended Sherman High School and was a member of North Park Baptist Church. She married Terry Brooks, July 29, 1992 in Muskogee, Okla. Jamie was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
She is survived by her husband Terry Brooks, daughter Whitney Brooks, and son Jacob Brooks all of Garland; mother Pat Ballou Couch and stepfather Dr. Mal Couch of Clifton; stepdaughters Tracy Stevens of Ft. Gibson, Okla. and Teri Brazil of Cushing, Okla.; brothers Robert Ballou and Eric Ballou of Dallas and Larry Shirley of Sherman; sister Donna Petty of Clifton and grandmother Marie Lacy of North Richland Hills. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
