J. Zenn Taylor Denison-Funeral for J. Zenn Taylor, 69 of 222 W. Texas, who died Friday in a local hospital will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Bratcher Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. T. Welch and the Rev. Joel Kircher officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Taylor was born Jan. 6, 1919 in Frederick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Reeves Taylor. He married Bonnie Cordell, March 30, 1942 in Wauriks. He was the retired owner of Nichols and Burls Fried Pie Shops. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the VFW and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army. Surviving are his wife; son Zenn R. of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Livia Banks of Denison; brother Paul Ray of Irving; three sisters, Belle Coker and Ladell Jordan both of Bowie; Drucella Burriss of Fort Worth; four grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
