- Laurie [LSMBETX at aol.com] says that there is an old slave cemetery on her uncle's property in Bedias [sorry - name of her uncle was not mentioned]. The slaves are said to have belonged to John Thomas. They are unmarked as far as she knows. If anyone has information on this cemetery, please let us know.
