RESEARCH HELP POLICY

The Genealogy & Local History Room will provide limited
research or lookups subject to the following general guidelines:
- Volunteers will consult all records available.
- Requests should be limited to materials about people who are Not Living
- Requests should be specific in nature; general requests may be
returned without action.
- Requests For Research to the Genealogy Society Research
Committee:

Jordan, or by mail to: The Genealogy Society of Kendall
County Attn: Lookup Committee P.O. Box 623, Boerne, TX 78006.
- Requests For Research to LOCAL HISTORY: for information about
Buildings, the Boerne Cemetery, Historic Markers or Obits, send them
to:
Boerne Public Library Attn: Bettie Edmonds, Local
Historian 210 N. Main, Boerne,TX 78006 or E-mail Historian Scanning of
pictures (8x10s) to be mailed are $1.00 ea including postage, payable to
BAHPS
- Telephone Requests: Please call (830) 249-3053.If a
Volunteer is on duty, the query will be answered if possible, or a
message can be left for another researcher.
- There is no Professional Genealogist available to do research at
this time.
- The library reserves the right to discontinue or disregard requests
from Professional Genealogists or Fee Researchers or other individuals
who attempt to use our reference services for monetary gain or from
patrons who request these services excessively.
