In April 2013, members of the Genealogical & Historical Society of Kendall County traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah to visit the Latter Day Saints Family History Library. This is an annual trip to the Library sponsored by GSKC.

The dates for the next trip to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah are Sunday, April 19 to Sunday, April 26, 2015. Reservations may be made at the Salt Lake City Plaza Hotel where we have a group of rooms reserved. See Below:

ACCOMMODATIONS: Salt Lake City Plaza Hotel is perfectly located next door to the Family History Library and across the street from Temple Square. To make reservations, call the hotel at 801.521.0130; tell them you are with Genealogical Society of Kendall County, Texas Group.Group rates are available. Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or a 1st night deposit. Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to the first day of arrival with no penalty.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS:Individuals make their own travel arrangements. Last year several did have the same flight, and we will communicate flight information and prices.

Please let her know if you decide to go and if you make reservations, also let Gwen know if you have any further questions. Gwen says, "A visit to the Family History Library is a special experience, especially for genealogists. That is why many of us go year after year."
