The films are in the Czech language but are subtitled in English unless otherwise specified.

January 28: Kafka - A film based on the literary work of the Czech author Franz Kafka. It is in English, starring the British actor Jeremy Irons. However, it was filmed in Prague.

February 25: Postrižiny - A film based on the literary work of Bohumil Hrabal, it is the story of a man and his wife who manage a brewery in a small town. The man's brother comes to visit and creates havoc at the brewery. It is in Czech but subtitled in English.

March 25: Vrchní Prchni - This is a comedy about a man who pretends to be a waiter and thereby steal money so he can afford to support all his ex-wives and children. The film is in Czech with English subtitles.

April 22: Jak Utopit Dr. Mracka - This is another comedy based on the legend of the water sprites who inhabit the rivers and streams in the Czech lands. The story takes place in Prague in modern times and is filmed in Czech with English subtitles.

May 27: Poslední Mohycan - This film is a pre-WWII comedy filmed in Prague. It is a classic Czech comedy, in Czech with subtitles.

June and July - No Films

August 26: S Certy Nejsou Žerty - A Czech folktale with English subtitles, based on a classical story "The Devil`s Brother-in-law" written by the famous Czech fairy tale author Bozena Nemcova.

September 23: Knoflikari - A dark comedy filmed with English subtitles. Set in Prague, twist of fate and the twists of mind of the characters (mostly couples) combine in absurd ways in the interweaving episodes of this comedy. Each of the characters gets a good shot at being sarcastic and each is a sorry loser at some point yet none is turned into the butt of the joke.

October 28: All My Good Countrymen - This film tells the story of a village in Czechoslovakia from 1948 to 1968, combining satire, farce, drama, poetry, and pure photo-lyricism, it shows how politics and daily village life are interwoven in the fates of a broad spectrum of the village's inhabitants.

November and December - No Films
