=================================================================================================================================================================================================‘  ‘HISTORIC PRESERVATION IN HILLSBORO…A KEY TO THE FUTURE” will be the subject of the program for the Monday, June 3rd, meeting of the Hill County Genealogical Society in Hillsboro at 6 pm. In the Hill County Courthouse Annex, 126 South Covington Street in Hillsboro.  Mr. Will Lowrance, a native of Hillsboro  will be the guest speaker.  He is a former Mayor of Hillsboro and  a long time member of the Teas State Historical Association and a former Chair of the Hill County Historical Commission.  He currently serves as Chair of the Hillsboro Historic Preservation Commission.  Hill County and Hillsboro are currently celebrating 160 years since their establishment in 1853.
