Mrs. Audrey Marie Presley, wife of Edgar L. Presley, passed away at the residence of her sister-in-law, Mrs. M.T. Lance, 617 East Walnut Street at 11:59 o'clock Saturday night, May 3, 1930, aged 21 years, 8 months and 25 days. Funeral services were held at the Walnut Street Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. A.J. Kirkland. Interment was in Brandon cemetary under the direction of Marshall & Marshall. Active pallbearers were Lee Cupp, Henry Blum, Lois Reagan, R.A. Ritchey, J.R. White, E.H. Nelson. Mrs. Presley was born near Bynum, Tex, Aug. 8, 1908 , and had lived in Hill County practically all her life. She was married to Edgar L. Presley Oct 29, 1927. She united with the Walnut Street Baptist Church about four months ago, and her membership was with that church at the time of her death. Survived by her husband, E.L. Presley, her father, I.G. Markham of Bynum, six brothers, Nollie of Abbott, Henry of Malone, Jesse and Nile of Bynum, Bob and Tillie Markham of Blum, also her sister, Mrs. O.T. White  of Huntsville, Tx
