        J.R.Baker dies at home of Son "obit"

Joe Robert Baker ,Native of Tennessee ,was born in White County on March 16, 1874.

Mr Baker was married to Manisa Jane Lowe in 1892. She preceded him in death seven years ago.

Mr Baker moved to Texas in 1912. He died at the home of his son, J.J. Baker near Hubbard at 4:35 pm ,February 18 , 1959.

Mr Baker is survived by four sons, O.R. ,A.L. ,D.H. ,and J.J.Baker all of Hubbard and one daughter, Mrs Loretta Findley of Houston ; 28 granchildren ; 53 greatgrandchildren and two brothers and one sister of Tennessee.

Funeral Sevices were held at Wolfe Funeral Chapel,Thursday afternoon at 4:00 pm ,February 19, conducted by Rev. Sam Cluck , pastor of the First Baptist Church in HUbbard.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery,Hubbard.

Pallbearers were ; J.E. Leckie ,Monk Odom, Buster Bailey ,Henry Bailey , Howard Taylor, and Ben Jordan.
