Mrs. Lee Lorance

Following an illness of several weeks, Mrs. Lee Lorance, wife of Irvin E. Lorance of Irene, passed away at a Waco sanitarium at 10:10 p. m. Thursday, Feb. 5, aged 51 years.

Funeral services were held at the Irene Methodist church at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. G. Standlee. Interment in Salem Cemetery near Irene.

Mrs. Lorance was born at Woodbury, Tennessee, February 6, 1890. She came to Texas with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Campbell when four years old, the family located at Irene and she had continued to reside there since. She was married to Irvin E. Lorance in 1919.

She was converted when a young woman and united with the Irene Methodist Church in 1922 and had held her membership there since.

Mrs. Lorance was a member of the Woodman Circle at Irene.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Miss Winnie Faye Lorance of Irene, two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Batton and Mrs. Hassie Biggers, both of Irene; and three brothers, Polie Campbell of Irene, Jack Campbell of Bryan, and Clayton Campbell of Gladewater.
