Marion Isaac Perry       

OBITUARY:  from an unidentified and undated yellowed newspaper clipping - probably the Milford Press, ca Oct. 1932

   M.I. Perry, a native of Alabama, died unexpectedly last Saturday. Mr. Perry brought his family to Texas, near Forreston, just before the turn of the century.  In 1908 he moved his family to a farm between Milford and Mertens in time to plant a crop. Left to mourn him are his loving wife, Fanny, three sons, Bill, Lee and Ernest and three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Hasten, Mrs. Arthur Simmons, Mrs. Quill Hollingsworth, several brothers, including our own Rich Perry of Milford, one sister, and a wealth of other relatives and friends (researcher note: Marion Isaac Perry died October 8, 1932.  He is buried in the Richland Cemetery, Mertens, Texas.
