Funeral services for Felix Rogers Mays, 68, of Covington, who died in a Cleburne Hospital Thursday, were held at the Covington Baptist Church Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. S. B. Culpepper of Cleburne and Rev. Hayden Edwards of Fort Worth officiating. Interment was in the Covington Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were: D. P. Mitchell, Mason Thurston, James Wiseman, J. L. Rutherford, Y. R. Gaither, M. T. Davis, S. C. Thames, and Bob Strange.

He is survivied by his wife of Covington; four sons. B. L. Mays, Hampton, Ga., J. T. Mays, San Angelo, Thomas Mays, Dallas, and Weldon Mays, Muroc, Calif.; four daughters, Misses Ethel Louise Mays, Ida Kathleen Mays, and Dorothy Ellen Mays of Covington; three brothers, Jesse Mays of Prague, Okla., S. Hilliard Mays, Anson, and Lester Mays, Temple; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Morgan, Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Eugenia Hammick of Goodett, and four grandchildren.
