Mrs J. R. Baker Buried Here Wednesday

Mrs Minisa Baker, wife of J. R. Baker ,born August 30,1873, died at her home here Tuesday, October 2 , at 1 pm;age 78 yrs,1mo,3dys.

Before her marriage to Mr Baker ,December 23,1892, in Tennessee,she was Miss Minisa Jane Lowe, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Green Lowe. They moved to Texas October 2, 1812 (should be 1912) and located near Malone ,later moving to Hubbard.

Mrs Baker was converted when a girl and joined the Baptist church.

She is survived by her husband and four sons: O.R. Baker, A.L. Baker,J.J. Baker, and D.H. Baker,all of Hubbard and a daughter, Mrs Loretty Findley of Houston; three half-brothers,L.P. Lowe,Houston Lowe, and Jim Lowe,two ( Three) half sisters; Mrs Laura Herrell,Mrs Sallie Rawls, and Mrs Lonnie Bell Woods,all of Hubbard,28 grandchildren, 28 GGrandchildren,and 2 gggrandchildren.

Funeral services were held from Wolfe Funeral Home Wednesday at 4 pm,conducted by Rev. Melvin Cox of Hillsboro. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
