Mrs. Cora Johnson

Mrs. Cora Lou Johnson, aged 63, widow of the late Rev. W. J. Johnson, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Miss Ruth Johnson, 1004 North Peak in Dallas.

Funeral services were held in Dallas Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock, with interment in Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Polk County, lived in Wichita Falls before moving to Dallas; and formerly lived in Hillsboro about thirty years.. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of this city.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Ruth Johnson of Dallas, and Mrs. Lola Woodward of Wichita Falls; three sons, R. R. of Denison, W J (dub) of Dallas and Homer of Berkeley, California; three brothers, Louis Guy of Comanche, Okla., Oliver Guy of Mabank, Texas, and Luther Guy of Kemp, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Julia Jones of Prairieville, Texas, Mrs. Ethel Splawn of Galveston, Mrs. Winnie Jones of Mabank, Texas, and Mrs. Pearl Wright of Winters.
