Mrs. Emma C. Lentz

Mrs. Emma Caroline Lentz, aged 63 years, 8 months, and 24 days, wife of Emil J. Lentz, died at the family residence Wednesday afternoon at 4:40 o’clock.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are in charge of Marshall and Marshall.

Mrs. Lentz was born at Gay Hill, Texas, and came to Malone community at 15 years of age. She was married to Emil Lentz Nov. 26, 1903. Mrs. Lentz was a member of the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband; two brothers, Martin Strauch, Malone, and Otte Strauch of Bynum; three sisters, Mrs. Ina Neumann, Mrs. Annie Lentz, Mrs. Amilia Adler of Malone; four sons, Pvt. Alfred Lentz of the US Army in Germany, Pvt. Emil Lentz Jr., US Army, Fort Lewis, Washington, Alton Lentz of Hillsboro, and Pvt. Edward Lentz of the US Army in the Pacific; and three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Zibilake of Houston, Mrs. Alice Kaddatz of Malone and Mrs. Gertrude Piel of Bynum; also eight grandchildren.
