Mr. John T. Morrow
Mr. John Tarlton Morrow of Houston passed away Tuesday afternoon after a lengthy illness at the age of 84.
Mr. Morrow was the eldest son of the late Judge and Mrs. W. C. Morrow, for many years prominent residents of Hillsboro. He was the brother of the late William C. Morrow of Hillsboro and Wright F. Morrow of Houston.
Mr. Morrow received his law degree from the University of Texas. He practiced law in Hillsboro, moved to Wichita Falls where he practiced some number of years. He later moved to Houston to be associated with the law firm of Vincent Elkins and Weems. He had been retired several years.
Mr. Morrow married the former Harriett Bowman in 1916, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Bowman of Hillsboro.
He is survived by a son, Dr. Tarlton Morrow of the Menninger Clinic of Topeka, Kansas, and a daughter Mrs. Alexander Baffa of Houston, a brother, Mr. Wright Morrow and a sister, Mrs. Roger Guthrie, both of Houston. Also a number of nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Nita Bowman.
Services will be held in Houston Thursday.
