Mrs. Margaret Leverett

Mrs. Margaret Leverett passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Arthur M. Anderson, five miles south of Hillsboro at 4:50 o’clock Saturday afternoon Sept. 1, 1945

A brief service was held at Marshall and Marshall Chapel at 9 o’clock Monday morning. Immediately following which the remains were taken overland to Gainesville where further services were held at the Presbyterian Church at 4 o’clock.

Interment was at Gainesville, beside her husband who passed away Dec. 25, 1938.

Mrs. Leverett was a native Texan and had lived in this state all of her life.

She was married to W W Leverett Jan. 21, 1903. Shortly after the death of her husband, Mrs. Leverett came to this county to make her home with her sister, Mrs. A. M. Anderson.

Mrs. Leverett was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. A. M. Anderson of Hillsboro and Mrs. Roberta Doughtie of Lubbock; one niece and one nephew.
