The Heritage of Hill County, Texas, Volume II won a prize in the Writing Awards competition sponsored by the Texas State Genealogical Society.
The book placed third in category 1, books by non-professionals – reference.
The awards were presented at the annual meeting in Houston, Nov. 4, 2011.
