William Seaf Alldredge

William Seaf Alldredge, well known Hill Countian, aged 60 years, passed away at the family residence, 320 South Waco Street, at 9:15 o’clock Wednesday night.

Funeral services will be held at the Marshall & Marshall funeral home at 10:30 o’clock tomorrow (Friday) morning, conducted by Rev. Vernon ?? Miles with interment in Ridge Park cemetery.

Mr. Alldredge was born in the state of Alabama and came to Texas in 1906, locating near Bynum and in 1918 he moved to Hillsboro and has made his home here since. In 1902 he was married to Miss Ada Mayfield. When he was 16 years of age he enlisted in the United States Army during the Spanish-American War..

When a small boy Mr. Alldredge united with the Baptist church and at the time of his death was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are his widow; a brother, Steve of Alabama; three children, Homer Alldredge of Hillsboro, Mrs. R. C. Battles of McAdon, and Mrs. Cecil Murray of Fort Worth; also seven grandchildren.
