Hines Cemetery

NOTE: This cemetery has long been neglected. At one time there were 30 to 40 graves here, but only a few headstone remain. The headstones were knocked down or torn down to make pasture land to graze cattle on...and the ground impressions are all still there. I stood on this hill and almost cried at the disgraceful state of this resting ground for our pioneers of this county. No final burial place should be left in this condition. It breaks my heart to think this place has been vandilized so much, not by kids pulling pranks, but by land owners who have no regard for this sacred resting ground.
