Louisa Mc Manus -- James J. Green -- Andrew Jackson Meazell 

Louisa Mc Manus born 1839 came to Henderson County with her parents, in abt. 1849. From Illinois.  She was the daughter of Thomas Parrish and Nancy Redfern McManus.  She married first to James J. Green, son of Shadrick W. Green and Rebecca Brewer, about 1860,  2 Children were born, Nancy Callie Green in 1862 and James L. Green, in 1864,  Nancy Callie Green married Johnny Etheridge, and descendants of this family still live around Kerens,TX.   Louisa (Luiza) married 2nd   Andrew Jackson Meazell,about 1874,  their daughter Lizzie b. 1875 married Meridith Barnett. They lived in Western Henderson County.   Luiza also had a niece, daughter of Susan E. Mc Manus and Robert Brown. Her name was Martha F. Brown b. 1870 who married John Jefferson Wallace June 14, 1885, and descendant"s of The Wallace's and Lane's, Her Children and grandchildren, remain in the County. Louisa Mc Manus Green Meazell died in March 1919, and is buried in the Oakgrove Cemetery, In Kerens ,TX  but her descendants remain, and honor her memory.
