Dr. W. D. Scott

The above is justly entitled to a place in this edition. He was born in O’Bion County, Tenn. He came to Texas in 1847 settling in Lamar county. He came from there to Henderson county in 1849 and has resided here ever since.

Dr. Scott Scott practiced medicine from 1857 to 1881. He has raised two children, both of whom live in Athens. His son, Dr. Walter Scott, is one of our leading physicians and is a fine man. His daughter is the wife of Mr. T. H. Barron, one of our leading business men.
