Biography J. R. Reierson

Although Mr. Reierson has not lived in Henderson county
all his life, yet he is of one of the oldest families of East
Texas and the long time he has resided in Henderson county
entitles him to mention in this connection.  Mr. Reierson 
was born at Mr. Enterprise, Rusk county Texas, March 31, 1855.  
He moved from there to Kaufman county in 1860 and from 
there to Athens in 1877 where he has resided ever since.
Success has crowned his business efforts and his is well
fixed in life and is accumulating property all the time.
He is senior of the firm of Reierson, Wood & Scott, a firm
that does a large busines and that uses printers' ink
as a means fo increasing their business.

His mother was a Haltom, a prominent family of East
Texas and whose descendants are still influential
people in that part of the state.

He married Miss Lena Wood of Athens, May 16 1894.  
They have three children, a daughter, Woodie, a 
bright, sweet little girl of six years and two sons,
Albert four years old and Jack, the baby about 
two years old.
