Biography W. C. Mason

The above is another name familar to all old settlers 
of Henderson.  He came to the county in 1849, 
settleing in the western part of the county.  Farming
and stock raising engaged his attention in both
of which he was very successful leaving quite
an estate as teh result of his business forsight.
We have on data as to the time and place of his 
birth.  He died in Kemp, Texas in 1896.
