Services for Estelle Arant, 92, of Ropesville will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mark McMillan, of First Baptist Church in Wolfforth, and Van Perryman, associate pastor of South Plains Christian Fellowship, officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

She died Thursday, Feb. 13, 1997, in Quaker Villa Nursing Home.

She was born in Iona. She moved to Ropesville in 1939. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ropesville and the choir.  She married Loyd K. Arant, and he died May 4, 1969.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, R.D. of Wolfforth and Harold of Levelland; a daughter, Doris Jackson of Lubbock; a brother, Homer Tapp of Lubbock; a sister, Beatrice Green of Abilene; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
