Graveside services for Mr. Hollis Parker, 73, of Lubbock were at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, in City of Levelland Cemetery with Riley Turner of Lubbock officiating. Burial followed under direction of George C. Price Funeral Directors in Levelland. Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock with Lee Towns officiating.

He was born June 30, 1930, in Lubbock. He graduated from high school in Ferris, Texas, and moved to Levelland in 1948. He married Wanda McDermett, Nov. 27, 1949, in Levelland and they moved to Lubbock in 1956. He was a member of Sunset Church of Christ and was retired from Lena Stephens Clothiers.

He is survived by his wife Wanda of Lubbock; two daughters, Patti Jennings and husband Randy of Lubbock, and Linda Fox and husband David of Ropesville; two brothers, Harold Parker of New Deal, and Eddie Parker and wife Pat of Lubbock; and three grandchildren, Blayne Bell of Lubbock, Hosanna Fox of Ropesville, and Brandon Jennings of Dallas.

The family suggests memorials to Children's Home of Lubbock, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, or Phoenix Home Health Care in Lubbock.
