in Hockley co. He was married to Hattie Norris Henderson
b4-11-1887 d7-21-1981 not sure even what city she died in
& am trying to find James' dad's name - my gg.

FORD, William Henry (1800's-1900's) Levelland, Texas
Seeking family history of the Ford family before my
grandfather, William Henry Ford, and the Rogers family.
My name is Roger Gary Ford and my father was Robert
Curtis Ford, son of W.H. Ford. My father's birthdate was
January 11, 1915, in Enid, Oklahoma. I did not know the
Ford side of my family since my father was killed in a
car accident in 1948 in Hockley county along with my
uncle, Buck Cox, and an associate whose name I do not
know. My mother's name is Jo Helen Rogers Ford, and her
parents were long-time residents of Levelland. Her
father, William Carl Rogers was a deputy sheriff in
Hockley County in the 40's, I think. Her mother was Eula
Lee Heath Rogers.

Athalia was known as Mary Knick married L. Oscar Knick.
Mary is buried in Hico Cemetery. She died 2-14-1914. Is
Oscar buried in this cemetery? Any Information on the
Knick's in this area is appreciated. My mother was Thelma
L. Knick d/o Adam Dean Knick; s/o Oscar Knick.
