Cemetery is located in the northwest of part of Hopkins County.
From the Sulphur Springs square take Hwy 154 north to Birthright,
turn right on FM
71 to Sulphur Bluff community, after passing Sulphur Bluff, turn
right on County Road 3545. Some ways down this road, on the left,
you find a gas
refinery, no longer in use. The cemetery is in front of this refinery.
When the Refinery people found out that it was a cemetery,
they put a
chain link fence around it, since being torn down by cattle. When
first indexed in the 1970's, there was only one stone, but many
graves marked
with wooden markers. Later, all wooden markers had been pulled from
the ground, and the stone was missing. The one marker, Mr. King's,
was
returned by an unknown after the fence was put up. Later a large
stone was placed with names of those known to be buried there.
