(Obit - Miss Marth E. "Mattie" Dodson, of Alabama, who had been here for some weeks 
with her parents visiting the family of Johnny Greaves, died January 9, 1912, from 
meningitis after a week of suffering. Burial was made in our cemetery (Cumby). She 
was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. W. Dodson.) (Cumby Rustler) Later reported - It 
was thought she contacted the meningitis while in Dallas.
