Grandma Proctor Dies Sunday 
(Sulphur Springs Daily News-Telegram, January 28, 1924)

Grandma Proctor died at the home of her son on Main Street. She was 
born in Tennessee, and came with her parents to Texas when she was 
six years old. Her husband died many years ago. She is survived by 
two sons, Tom Proctor of this city, and Dick Proctor of Miller Grove. 
She was buried at the Proctor Cemetery near Miller Grove.
