Welcome to the Hunt County TXGenWeb Project. I am Shirley Cullum, the Hunt County Coordinator, and I hope you enjoy your visit. If you would like to submit information on your ancestors in Hunt County, please contact me.  

Hunt County is located in northeastern Texas.  It was founded in 1846 from portions of Nacogdoches and Fannin counties.  The county seat is Greenville.   More history of Hunt County here.

Cousins and Friends of the Kinsey and Coskrey families,

Please consider this your formal invitation to attend and participate in the fellowship of family and fellow genealogical researchers June 8, 9, & 10, 2012 at Gatesville TX. Descendants of these families have gathered annually for over 75 years.

We have lots of special activities and research opportunities, programs and entertainment, good food and activities for the kids and teenagers. Some meals are provided for a nominal price, and we have a potluck lunch on Sunday.
