Green's Red Roof Stock Farm
note: I think his name is J. Riley Green. The big barn with the red roof was an impressive piece of architecture on the FM going out of Wolfe City toward Greenville. It is still standing but in bad need of repair. I don't think it will have very many more years, especially with high winds and the shifting of the ground during droughts. I don't know if this is true or not, but there was a plan to restore the old building.
John Taylor tells me that the building is pictured in a book he has...someone captured it when it was full of life and purpose.
