I acquired a box of old pictures after my mothers death and found a great old picture of Jacksboro, Texas. I hope you can see in the picture that this is a political picture ...McCormick signs and flags.
If you find out what year this was taken I would love to know

This first picture was sent to me from my cousin Connie ERWIN LYONS. She wrote the names on the photo. It's the only one I have of my grandpa Johnny ERWIN as a young man. The man with picture facing you is my grandfather John Franklin ERWIN b-April 25, 1871 in Crockett,Grayson Co. TX. he d-July 23,1954 in Perrin, Jack Co. TX. buried at Fairview Cemetery in Jack Co. TX. (nic name Stubby). I'm not sure who the next three men are or the one in the very far back is. The next is Green ERWIN b-ukn. and the next is Oscar ERWIN b-April 23, 1886. The children in front, the one boy I don't know the next boy is Sam Mobley. This photo was taken in Jacksboro, not sure of year. I'm hoping someone might know the other's in the photo. I think they could be Grandpa John Franklin ERWIN'S brothers.

My father John Kennedy ERWIN b-April 11, 1922 in Joplin, Jack Co. TX and d-Feb. 5, 1975 in Mineral Wells, TX. buried at Fairview Cemetery in Joplin, Jack Co. TX. and my mother Frances Josephine BROYLES ERWIN b- May 13, 1925 in Childress, TX. This was taken about 1944 or 1945 before I was born.

John Franklin ERWIN b-April 25, 1871 TX. and Spouse Serena SMITH b-Dec. 26, 1880 Whitesboro, TX. They were married Feb. 7, 1907. Parents to my father John K. ERWIN
