1905 IN ANSON TEXAS---- Linda Jacobs Looper provided this nice
photograph. The gentleman in the left foreground with the white Stetson is thought to be Linda's grandfather,
Charlie E Jacobs. Charlie was a longtime farmer in the Merkel/Trent area. The store front names are hard to
read. Frrom left to right they are; Sarrett-Reaves & Co. Hardware Groceries, Brockett P.Pool Co. General
Merchandise, Morrow & Johnson Drugs, Davidson & Roland Dry Goods Groceries-Millinery, Maxey Hardware
