I understand from my late mother's research that the gravestones are broken or missing due to vandalism and tornados. Mother stated that she could not find her grandfathers stone. Below is information from his death certificate to document that he was buried at Mt. Olive Cemetery.

(I understand it was common practice to bury TB victims on the day that they died)
He died and was buried as a pauper.
The information is from Texas State Board of Health Standard Certificate

The informant was a J. H. Hanks of Scurry
