An interesting story about moving from the old hospital to the new
Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in the late 1940's has been added by
Don Zesch who helped with the move when he was a teen-ager.

Pictures from visits to Kerrville in 1904 and 1905 are featured in a
photograph album kept by Florine Jones. The photos
show young people having summer fun and some scenes of the Kerr County
area just after the turn of the century. Only first names, or no
names at
all, are in the album. See some of the pictures from this album in

A link to a new item on the TXGenWeb page is under "Texas Muster Rolls
1835-1836" on the Kerr County Page. This consists of scans of the
original Muster Rolls. There's a surname index prepared by TXGenWeb
member, Billie Nichols Bennett. And you can choose to view the
original
documents in .pdf format. Thanks to TXGenWeb for making

Another cemetery is added to the listings for Kerr County. This is a
small
family burial plot located on private property in the Ingram area.
Four
children are buried there with gravestones restored by the property owner
several years ago. Some family information is included.

The Kerr County Historical Commission has produced a Cemeteries Brochure
in conjunction with the Kerrville Convention & Visitors Bureau and the
Kerr Co TXGenWeb Site. The Brochure is in .PDF format and can be

Beverly Moore has sent some military gravemarker photos for Nichols
Cemetery burials and those are now linked to the names in that cemetery
listing. Other recent burial information has also been added to the
cemetery
on the Kerr Co Page from local newspaper sources.

of Schreiner University and she's provided an accurate GPS location for
